band etiquette what is it? is it just everyone out for them selves? or is it just confusing in this modern age of communication, like not responding to emails and text? or is it just me? I'm trying to take my band to Ca. on a little mini tour and i have not found one gig... I've emailed a million people and no one writes back. I don't know if they even see the messages at this point cause facebook is so screwy, and i know if you don't look messages get lost. so were do i go from here? on another note, i was told that acting like you care about your own band and the shows you play is not cool, pas say (sp), lame, and not fun to hear about. The way to get your band popular is to pretend you don't give a fuck and then every one will love you. Well my wiring will never let me do that, I enjoy playing to people that are excited about watching a good band play. I may be to old for this shit but i'm not fucking stopping. I don't want fame, i just want play music and have a good time with others! ok going on a tangent, but all i'm saying is, why is it "uncool" to be passionate about what you do?
